Luxury and art. We are in Denver, Colorado, and here he opened a very special hotel: all the rooms have been converted into art galleries. A work edited by Dianne Vanderlip, one of the most influential women in the art world that, lover of the city offering stimuli, and wanted to recreate them within this particular space.
The hotel is called The Art, has 165 rooms, each expression of a careful design and well cared for. Flagship, restaurant serving local products of the highest quality.
The rooms of the hotel are decorated with an international collection of works of art. Claus Oldenburg, Tracey Emin, John Baldessari, Ed Rucha and Sol LeWitt are among the artists that can be admired, together with works commissioned specially for the hotel. There are about 40 works of modern and contemporary art located in the halls of The Art.
For example, on the first floor you can admire Mary Ehrin Molten giant meteorite Meteorites: reminiscent of the gold course in Colorado: coated film and lit, change colour during the day and in the evening depending on the reflections and lighting.
Already from the entrance, there is an installation quite spectacular: it is a work of light composed of 22,000 lights made from American Leo Villareal (known for The Bay Lights that in 2013 lit up the San Francisco Bay Bridge).
