The week of bio-architecture in Modena.

Green building is the guest star of the Week of bio-architecture and domotics in Modena from 16th to November 20th, 2015. Promoted by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Modena and sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and other institutions, the event is taking place in the Eco-friendly House of Modena, seat of the Agency for Energy and Sustainable Development. A full programme of meetings, seminars, workshops, to which you can participate for free by subscribing to the site.

From the program we report the opening Conference, on November 16th, about Smart & Green, smart and sustainable cities, to which Environment Minister Gian Luca Galletti has been invited too. On Tuesday 17th November, the design workshop on “tools and strategies to successfully design green buildings” is taking place.

On Wednesday 18th, important issues as multidisciplinary design for a integrated approach to buildings and the development of existing buildings as future construction are discussed. On Thursday 19th November, the focus shifts to the territory with themes such as sustainable mobility and social housing. On Friday, November 20th, the Sustainability Award is awarded and finally the closing meeting on “Wooden Architecture, Landscape’s Architecture” is taking place.
