Student creativity and experience of internationally renowned architects. During space & interiors, the exclusive event organized by MADE Expo, during the Salone del Mobile, Milano will host the award ceremony of the contest ARCHICOCKTAIL and meetings with FACTORY space & interiors design and protagonists of contemporary architecture.

There is still time until March 22 to enter the contest for students enrolled in Italian courses of architecture and industrial design, aged between 18 and 30 years old.

The initiative, as the project is signed by Migliore + Servetto Architects, invites the young participants to interpret “the codes of contemporary living” by producing a short video and a poster.

Each of them is called to give its own interpretation of “living landscape”, understood as a system of relations between the different elements that come into play when we talk about design. On the one hand, there is the architectural structure and on the other its content and this leads to reflections from different perspectives such as the expressive quality, functional and innovative materials, of light, of joining elements, acoustic and tactile experience.

ARCHICOCKTAIL with prestigious guests

At aperitif time, on all days of the fair, the journalist Giorgio Tartaro leads the meetings with designers and architects. A unique opportunity to direct confrontation with top professionals on the hot topics in the design.

The meeting with the architects is an integral part of an event as space and interiors that aims to engage planners, designers and builders in stimulating exploration of new map of living. The variety and quality of the companies that have joined the initiative allows you to discover the new trends of interior architecture starting from the relationship between the different components of the project: from materials (surfaces, floors, walls) to doors, windows, door handles, trim up to plant engineering (lighting, home automation, home automation).

In this context the tale and direct contact with leading professionals becomes update source and inspiration.

The Archicocktail starts Tuesday at 18.00 12 with Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto, whose speech is titled Designing new spaces of the narrative.

Continue the meetings with Tiziano Vudafieri, Wednesday 13 April at 18.30 hours. Discuss Interior and Storytelling.

Thursday, 14 April, again at 18.30 hours, Ferruccio laviani “l” Decor.

Architecture in conjunction with the Salone del Mobile

The draft space & interiors curated by Migliore + Servetto Architects was created by MADE Expo, with the intention of offering the broadest audience at the Milan Design Week excellence of finishes for architecture.

The event takes place in a newly designed exhibition area, which provides visitors with a multisensory experience to present emotional wrench products exposed.
